Remeber Rolly Marchi

Rolly Marchi was in Italian sport journalist: he died on the 14th of October 2013, at the age of 92. Very young, he was the only one to write about Nones victory in cross country race (Grenoble Olympic Games) when this kind of sport was not at all considered.
He created Trofeo Topolino, the baby race that let Thoeni, Stenmark, Girardelli, Tomba, Benjamin Raich, Anita Wachter and Lindsey Vonn win their first medals. Also 3Tre, the scenic race in Madonna di Campiglio was one of his ideas. Among his best friends, we remember Italian writers (Indro Montanelli, Gianni Brera and Dino Buzzati), famous alpinists and mountain climbers. He loved the snow so much that he used to say: «I feel sorry for the profound injustice of the world, because not all the people get the same amount of snow».
Italian Ski Journalists say good bye to a collegue, and a friend.
